Construction of a double brick ground floor extension and a brick veneer first floor extension with terracotta roof tiles.
Some of the challenges we came across on this site where removing a solid chunk of the existing roof to make way for the proposed second story while tarping existing ground floor rooms without creating damages. All extension works were designed to blend in with existing building including matching new top gable end to existing ground floor. The position of this home was in a flight path for the airport so it consisted complying with extra acoustic components including double ceiling and wall sheeting thicker glazing on windows.
